Announcement    We are The Original Acrylic Frame Company! We carry only the highest quality acrylic frame goods including the only place you will find solid brass standoff bolts!

FAQs:

Small bolts work great on acrylic smaller than 30", and Large bolts are recommended for acrylic over 30" and do not have a size limit but for very large pieces you will want to have a bolt about every 30-36" around the perimeter.

1/8" thick acrylic is recommended for most pieces, but you can also use 1/4" for the front or back or both with large pieces for added stability. Frame kits can be used with glass or acrylic.

Holes for the small kit should be 3/8" and holes for the large kit should be 7/16".

When hung, it is possible to have a small gap between the two acrylic sheets. This is caused when the bolts are drilled into the wall slightly off from the holes in the acrylic. Replacements will not be provided for this problem, as it happens due to user error.

Brass kits are made from solid unlaquered brass and have natural marks and patina, and will continue to patina with age, as is the nature of brass.

***Returns: If you’re having second thoughts about your frames, don’t worry; you have 45 days from the delivery date to return it. If our products didn’t meet your expectations we’ll take it back. Returns must be made within 45 days from the delivery date. All merchandise must be packaged and shipped in the original packaging and condition it arrived. All merchandise is subject to inspection. Customer is responsible for return shipping. Refunds will be made when item arrives in unused condition. Custom frames are non-returnable.***

Frequently asked questions

What size should I order?

We recommend having a 2-3" border around the entire piece. This ends up adding 4-6 inches to your frame size, since the 2-3 inches need to go on the left and right of the print.
For example, if you have an 11x14 print, you'd need around a 16x19 frame (for a 2.5" border)

What should I do if I need a frame larger than 30"?

Currently, we can only ship up to 30" frames. Come mid-January we'll be able to ship up to 39" frames. But don't worry!! If you need a frame larger than this, you can contact a local glass or plastic shop and still purchase the bolts from us. Send us a message and we can help you with all the measurements you'll need!

How can I clean my acrylic?

Just use a rag, a little dish soap and water. This works better than Windex.
